Is this signing request real?
Scammers sometimes copy the look of e-signature emails to steal passwords or money. Use these checks before you open or sign anything. It takes about a minute.
A genuine request passes all four.
If any answer is "no", don't sign. Contact the sender using a phone number or email you already have, not the details in the message.

Nobody asks for a password or payment
Signing a document never requires logging in, paying, or giving bank, card or Social Security details. A page that asks for any of those is not us.

You recognize the sender
Requests are sent by the person or company you're working with, such as a buyer, investor or agent. The document should match a deal you've actually discussed.

There's no pressure to rush
A real sender can wait while you read. Messages threatening penalties or urgent deadlines are a classic warning sign.
Spot a fake link.
Scam links often add words or swap letters so they look close enough at a glance. Read the part right before the first single slash.

Think a request might be fake?
- Don't tap the link and don't reply to the message.
- Contact the sender directly, using contact details you already had before this message arrived, and ask whether they sent it.
- If you already entered a password on a suspicious page, change it straight away wherever you use it, and turn on two-step verification.
- Report phishing to the U.S. Federal Trade Commission at ReportFraud.ftc.gov, and forward phishing emails to [email protected].

Genuine Revamp Sign pages never ask for money or account logins. If you signed a real document by mistake, talk to the sender straight away. They can void a document that hasn't been completed yet.
